▪ January 2008 - December 2010: DFG Fellowship, Center for Metropolitan Studies, Transatlantic Research Program Berlin/New York. 

▪ September 2006 - February 2009: Visiting Scholar at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation of Columbia University in New York - Department of Urban Planning, invited by Prof. Peter Marcuse.

▪ July 2007: Registration as a licensed Architect, Berliner Architektenkammer  

▪ September 2007:  Doctoral Degree Program in Urban Planning, Technische Universität Berlin. Title of the dissertation: “City Producers, City Consumers. The Rezoning and Branding of New York City under the Administration of Michael R. Bloomberg (2002-2013).Academic Advisors: Prof. Dr. Enrico Gualini (Professor of Theory of Planning at ISR, TU Berlin) and Prof. Robert Beauregard (Director of the Urban Planning Program, GSAPP Columbia University New York)
